Whether anyone arriving at 8:30AM this morning to attend Dion Hinchcliffe's inaugural "AJAX University Bootcamp" at AJAXWorld 2006 realized that just nine hours later they'd potentially be talking intelligently about using geocoding in image tags to build an application "mashup" of the Dojo GoogleMaps Control or YahooMap control to visually display where photos were taken is unknown. But the atmosphere in the Bootcamp all day has been intensely purposive, so it wouldn't at all surprise me!
The AJAX Developer Bootcamp curriculum was carefully designed to be the most efficient way to "fit all of AJAX in your head" using a structured and well-organized approach to learning about this significant new paradigm shift in Web development. Delegates certainly seemed to have staying-power! No one abandoned ship, and indeed there were more than a handful of "walk-ins" - i.e. people who apparently decided to attend the Bootcamp at the very last minute.
